3 weeks

Its been almost a month since Abraham was born. Time goes so fast! He is starting to sleep a little longer at night, which is VERY nice, he is looking me and people in the eye, he holds his head up, and when he is in the right mood he will pull himself up. He is a very strong little guy and is growing very fast. Last monday at his 2 week check up he weighed 8 lbs 13 oz, and today at a "moms meeting" he weighed 9 lbs 13 oz!! He got to meet his Aunt Beth and Uncle Josh on Monday, but I failed to get any pictures...thankfully grandma did, we will just have to get them from her. He now just has 2 uncles and 1 aunt to meet.

Abraham Michael Baker born 11-22-09 at 7:14 pm. Weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz and 21.5 in long. The whole family is doing well. He is already a week old. Here are some pictures.

He is a very happy baby. We couldn't be more happy with him. Even though he keeps me up at night he brightens my day.

Harvest Progress

Harvest is progressing slowly but surely. We are half done with corn, and completely done with beans. The elevator we haul corn to is slow the drier is slow, But we are almost done at the drier so then the guys can get a little more sleep hopefully.

I started this post a long time ago but uploading pictures was so slow I kept putting it off. But now we are finially done with harvest. Everyone is very tired of this long harvest we have had. Abraham hasn't been out to the field yet but is very excited to see what its all about!

As a tribute to Chad who loves these animals, well cats at least, so much. Here are some pictures of mom and dads weird animals!

Buffy has dug her own grave, and sits in it most of the time! When she is just laying there you can't even see her, but then she pops her head up. She even barks from sitting in the hole.

I need to remember my camera when I go out to the field. Not much corn done, but we are getting a good start on it. Thats about all I have for now.

First Blog

I decided to try blogging. Im really bad at writting and journaling so we will see how this goes. Hopefully this will be a good way to keep all our family up to date on what is going on with us. We have been very busy lately trying to get in the field and when it is fit to harvest we run like mad!! We are finially past the 1/2 way mark with beans...and only a month till the baby is due, so hopefully most everything is done by that time. Everything is going well as far as the baby goes. Got the nursery pretty much done, just a few things left to do/get and it will be ready for Baby Bake! Here are some pictures of the nursery. It really was a family effort getting this nursery done. Laurel and I painted the walls and blinds. Mom and I painted the circles. Grandma made the valance and crib skirt, Mom made the lamp, and I made the chair cushion.
